Prairie Meadows' Announces 2021 Grant Program

March 25, 2021 – Altoona, IA. As a nonprofit organization, Prairie Meadows fulfills its purpose by giving back to organizations that support arts and culture, education, economic development, and human services in the state of Iowa. Today, it is with great pride that Prairie Meadows announces it will resume its charitable giving program by providing $4 million in grants in 2021. The following grant programs will begin accepting applications April 1.

  • Community Betterment Grants – application deadline May 28, 2021
  • Youth Sports and Recreational Grants – application deadline May 28, 2021

Legacy grant applications submitted in 2020 will be reviewed this year and grants will be awarded from the charitable giving dollars set aside for 2021. New Legacy Grant applications will be accepted beginning January 3, 2022.
