How do I request my Annual Activity Report or Win/Loss report for the prior year?

Annual Activity reports or Win/Loss statements for the prior year can be requested two ways. We do not provide Annual Activity Reports for the current year.

  1. Visit the Prairie Gold Rewards desk in the casino between 8am and 11pm and fill out an Annual Activity (win/loss) request form and one will be processed for you.
  2. View your player rewards account and request an Annual Activity (win/loss) request statement through the MyRewards portal on prairiemeadows.com. If you do not have a MyRewards account you will need to create one. Once you have created the account you will have access to your player rewards account and you will be able to request an Annual Activity report (win/loss) for the last 3 years. The report will be sent via email.
  3. Download the form here and follow the instructions.

Where can I find a W-2G tax request form?

The W-2G form is a Federal tax form provided to taxable winners of slots, tables, and racing at the time of the win. If you lost or misplaced your form, you may complete a W-2G request form at Prairie Gold Rewards on Casino Level 2 between the hours of 8am and 3pm, seven days a week. If you are not able to make it to Prairie Meadows, you may print the W-2G request form here. The form will need to be notarized and mailed back to Prairie Meadows. Once we have received the completed form, the report will be mailed out to you.

Where can I find my 1099-misc form for taxes?

The 1099-misc form is a Federal form that you will receive in the mail if you had tracked aggregated promotional wins of $600 or more in a calendar year. The 1099-misc form is mailed each year by the last day of January. If you did not receive or lost your form, you may request a reprinted form at Prairie Gold Rewards on Casino Level 2 between the hours of 8am and 3pm, seven days a week. If you are not able to make it to Prairie Meadows, please contact the Prairie Meadows Gaming Revenue office at (515) 967-1370. 

What are Prairie Meadows hours of operation?

Prairie Meadows Casino and Hotel are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Our racetrack is open between May and September during the racing season.

Does Prairie Meadows have an admission fee?

Admission is free to the Prairie Meadows Casino, Hotel and all of our live horse racing events with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Is there a charge for parking at Prairie Meadows?

Parking is free and plentiful. Parking includes many handicap spaces as well. Super Hero parking is available for active and reserved duty military, veterans, EMS personnel, law enforcement and firefighters. Two 16kW Tesla charging stations and one universal electric vehicle charging station are available to our guests free of charge. There is a specific parking lot for semi-trucks.

Does Prairie Meadows offer valet services?

Yes. You may valet your vehicle at the main casino entrance. Hours of operation are 7 days a week from 10am - midnight.

Can I bring my child to Prairie Meadows?

Children under 18 are welcome if accompanied by an adult on the track apron, in any of our restaurants, and on Level 1. However Champions, located on level 4, has some restrictions – children under 18 are only allowed one hour prior to live racing and 30 minutes after live racing concludes. Children and adults under the age of 21 are not allowed to access the casino floor, located on Level 2.

When does live horse racing season begin at Prairie Meadows?

The live horse racing season at Prairie Meadows will begin on May 10, 2024 and will run through September 28, 2024.

What days do the horses race at Prairie Meadows?

Fridays & Saturdays post time will be at 6PM, Sundays & Mondays, post time will be at 4PM.

Are chairs, umbrellas, and/or coolers allowed at the races or events?

Prairie Meadows allows chairs during special events, but coolers and umbrellas are not permitted at any time. Chairs are subject to search before being granted admittance.  

Are tables available for reservation during live racing events at Prairie Meadows?

Tables at Champions, on Level 4, are at a first come, first serve basis.

Where do I buy a race program?

Racing programs are available for sale at the Gift Shop, Hotel, Hops Lounge inside the track apron doors, the Track Apron food concessions, and at the Racing Center on the 4th floor.

What is the Prairie Meadows Camera Policy?

Cell phone cameras are allowed for leisure use in outdoor venues only. No personal cameras are allowed. Pictures acquired in outdoor venues may not be sold, duplicated, or distributed.

What is the smoking policy at Prairie Meadows?

Smoking is allowed in designated area only on Casino Level 2.

Does Prairie Meadows offer a rewards program?

Does Prairie Meadows offer check cashing services?

Guests can cash a personal check at any cashier window, at no charge. In order to cash a check, guests need to present a valid photo ID, create an account with Global Payments, and agree to a credit check.

Where can I bet on sports at Prairie Meadows?

Can you place wagers on sports online in Iowa?
