Bret Michaels to Perform Concert at Prairie Meadows

January 28 – Altoona, IA. Bret Michaels, multiplatinum global superstar, is coming to Prairie Meadows on Friday, March 22. Special guest Bad Authority will open the show at 8 p.m. in The Meadows Events Center. Tickets start at $39 for standing room areas. Michaels rose to fame as the front man of Poison, one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands. He has topped music charts with Poison as well as a solo artist. Poison’s massive success includes selling more than 50 million records worldwide and numerous hit singles like "Every Rose Has It's Thorn." 

Bret’s album “Bret Michaels: Jammin’ with Friends” features a myriad of legendary artists such as Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Loretta Lynn, Jimmy Buffett, Ace Frehley (Kiss), Michael Anthony (Van Halen), and members of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Michaels’ latest single and video “Unbroken,” which he cowrote and recorded with his youngest daughter Jorja Bleu, will be out March 15. In the run-up to the release of the new single, Michaels has unleashed the #HotRocks Unbroken Challenge – a social media competition in which the iconic musician, philanthropist, TV personality, and entrepreneur is giving participants the chance to dance for a $10,000 donation to the charity of their choice and a VIP rock star weekend getaway.

Bad Authority is a hard rock band from Carroll, Iowa.
