Opening For Horsemens Representative on the Prairie Meadows Board

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 4.1 of PMRC’s Bylaws, PMRC’s Elected Directors are to select an Iowa horse owner to serve on PMRC’s Board of Directors who satisfies the following criteria: : (i) owns at least 50% of an Iowa-bred horse; (ii) has raced in at least one meet at Prairie Meadows during the year of selection and the year immediately preceding the year of selection; and (iii) who is in good standing in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State of Iowa and Prairie Meadows and all members of the Board shall have the right to vote on the Horse Owner selected by the Elected Directors. The term is for three (3) years and shall commence upon the conclusion of the November 18, 2026 meeting.

Inasmuch as it is necessary for each Director to satisfy a thorough examination of his or her personal history (financial, criminal, etc.) conducted by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation, the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, and/or other regulatory agencies, and substantial information must thus be provided by each potential Director; we will need each interested horse owner to submit to PMRC in writing (attention: Brian Ohorilko), on or before October 19, 2026, his or her name, address and phone number, together with confirmation that he or she is willing to divulge all required information and complete all required forms, plus any additional information he or she deems relevant.
