Djurdja is a positive, valued, and integral member of the Prairie Meadows team. With 25 years of dedicated service as a Housekeeper, she has played a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that Prairie Meadows is known for.
Djurdja’s journey at Prairie Meadows began when she moved to the community from a nearby neighborhood. She became part of the team, and over the years, her hard work and commitment have helped shape her into a respected Housekeeper and a natural leader. Djurdja is passionate about working with others and is deeply committed to mentoring and supporting her coworkers.
One of the things Djurdja loves most about working at Prairie Meadows is the diverse group of people she encounters every day. When she first started, Djurdja was learning English and today, she is fluent in English and several other languages. She often helps new employees who are just beginning their language journey, drawing from her own experience and offering encouragement and support. Her ability to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and heard has made a lasting impact on her team.
Djurdja takes pride in guiding others and sharing her knowledge. Her hands-on approach and commitment to clear communication ensure her team is confident, well-trained, and equipped to succeed. Outside of work, Djurdja enjoys gardening, stitching, cooking, baking, sports, and music. She also has a knack for spreading joy and often lightens the mood with a playful joke or a kind word. Her infectious positivity creates a warm atmosphere wherever she goes.
