The Rules of Crazy 4 Poker
Overview
Crazy Four Pokertm uses a standard 52-card deck. The game features head-to-head play with the Dealer and two bonus bets-one mandatory, the other optional. Since only four cards are used to make poker hands, a four-card straight is a straight; a four-card flush is a flush; and a four-card straight flush is a straight flush.Object Of The Game
A player and dealer both receive 5 cards, which must be arranged in a four-card poker hand.A player must make a wager on Ante and Super Bonus and they must be of equal value, this bet is head-to-head against the dealer. If the player decides the hand is playable they must match the Ante wager, if the hand is Aces or better they may bet up to triple the Ante wager on the Play bet. The Queens Up bet is an optional bonus wager and may be any amount within table limits, but do not have to equal the other wagers. This bet wins if the player has a pair of Queens or better and is not a wager against the Dealer's hand.

Bonus Bets
SUPER BONUS – This bet wins when the player gets a straight or better. However, failure to get at least a straight does not result in an automatic loss of the Super Bonus. This bet pushes when the player gets less than a straight, but beats or ties the Dealer, or the Dealer does not qualify.Hands of straight or better always receive Super Bonus payouts. When the player has a straight or better but loses to the Dealer's qualifying hand, he still received Super Bonus payouts and the original wager stays on the layout.
OPTIONAL QUEENS UP SIDE BET- The Queens Up bet is optional. Players may make the Queens Up wager for any amount within the posted table limits. Players may bet more or less on the Queens Up bet than they bet on the Ante or Super Bonus. A player may bet the Queens Up bet without any other wagers being placed.
Table Opening
When opening a new table the dealer and floor supervisor will check the bankroll for accuracy and sign and drop the table inventory slip.If an automated shuffler is used, two decks of cards will be used, each with a different color back. If on a game where a manual shuffle will be used, only one deck of cards is used.
When cards are placed on the gaming table a casino supervisor will break the seal then give the cards to the dealer for inspection. The dealer or casino supervisor will spread cards face up in two rows to verify that all cards are present.. The backs of the cards will be checked to make certain there are no marking, which can be identified as to the value of the card. Cards will be checked for any kind of damage. If after checking the cards, the dealer or supervisor finds that cards are damaged or improper, the supervisor will replace them. When replacing cards on the initial opening the whole deck in question will be replaced with a new deck from inventory. The defective deck will have the defect noted, and returned to the Card and Dice storage.
A deck of 52 cards will be used. (Unused jokers shall be immediately cancelled with a black magic marker).
After the first deck is checked, it will be spread and washed on the table. If an automated shuffler is used, then they will be collected, riffled once, and inserted into the automatic shuffler. For a manual shuffle they will be spread and washed then continue with the manual shuffle procedure.
If an automated shuffler is used, the second deck is then washed and riffled the same way.
If there is no player at the table, the second deck will be spread face down. If there is a player, the bets will be checked and the cards loaded into the shuffle machine to start the first hand.
Shuffle
The standard shuffle after a hand is complete is to riffle once and place the deck into the shuffle machine. Crazy Four Poker will be dealt from an automatic shuffler. In the event that a shuffler breaks down, the dealers will use a manual shuffle. If an error light turns on during the shuffle, the cards in the machine will not be brought into play until a supervisor investigates the error. The dealer will riffle twice, strip the cards (5-7 times), and riffle once more. If manually dealt a player will be offered the cut, if nobody wishes to cut the dealer will call out "Dealer Cut", and cut the cards in the middle. The cards will then be dealt out as described below.Dealing The Cards
After a deck is loaded into the shuffle machine, the machine will produce the first 5-card hand. Starting at the Dealer's left, this spot will receive the first hand. Each player, including the house, will receive a five-card hand. The dealer will receive the last hand. The machine will dispense the remaining cards and they will be placed in the discard rack before play will begin.Hands will be fanned or spread near the players' betting area.
In a manually dealt game the dealer will deal one card per spot from left to right, including the Dealer's spot last until each spot has five cards. After all spots have hands, there should be 17 cards left over. These should be verified then put into the discard rack. The dealer will remove any hands where there are no wagers, and place these cards into the discard rack.
The dealer shall announce to the players that it is ok to set their hands.
Card Placement
All hands are fanned or spread near the players wager and the house hand placed in front of the rack with a house. After all player hands have been set, and have been placed in the appropriate boxes, the dealer will turn their cards over and spread the cards in front of the rack.
The dealer will then set their four-card poker hand.
The dealer's card hand will be set left to right and the extra card will be placed sideways.
Once the player's hands are set and the dealer turns over their cards, the players may not touch their cards again.
Once the dealer hand is set then the dealer will compare hands from right to left. The dealer will turn over the cards and determine the player's best card poker hand. The 4 Card hand will be fanned on the left side of the betting area. The 5th card (low) will be placed horizontally at the bottom of the card hand.
