Prairie Meadows has given more than $1 billion through taxes, grants and charitable donations to the state of Iowa. More than $500 million of that figure has remained in our community to promote education, economic development, agriculture, jobs and tourism.

Community Betterment

Prairie Meadows is proud to offer a year-round entertainment facility that employs over 1,300 central Iowans and to have given more than $468 million to the community in support of the arts, education, economic development and community betterment.

Grants

As part of its ongoing commitment to Polk County and the state of Iowa, Prairie Meadows supports a broad range of not-for-profit proposals and projects through an annual grant award program. Funds are awarded in the following four general categories: Human Services, Education, Economic Development, and Arts & Culture.
